About

I enjoy spending time with people who want to be better, and I feel honored to have the skill to help them do it.

That’s the plainest way I can say why I do this work.

Some of the people I see have been in therapy before; some have never done anything like it. What they share is a sense that there’s more underneath — something they haven’t yet been able to reach or put into words. My work is to help them reach it, and to say it in their own voice. I know this work from both chairs.

My clinical background spans crisis intervention, acute psychiatric care, and inpatient settings, across the full range of complexity. That breadth is not incidental. It’s what lets the work meet you wherever you actually are, and hold whatever you bring to it.
